Camarines Norte Police identifies woman found dead in storage box

The Camarines Norte Police Provincial Office has identified the woman who was earlier found dead inside a storage box under the Pinagwarasan Bridge in Basud, Camarines Norte.

The police identified the victim as Anelis Agocoy, 38, a resident of Barangay Bura in Catarman, Camiguin.

Basud Municipal Police Station acting chief Capt. Mark Armea received a call from the victim’s friend on Monday evening, January 5 who positively identified her, the Camarines Norte Police said in a statement.

The victim’s identity was also confirmed by her cousin, the police added.

The Basud Municipal Police Station has already coordinated with the Catarman Municipal Police Station to inform the victim’s family of what happened to her.
