Head of baby suspected to have been aborted found in Minglanilla, Cebu

The head of an infant believed to have been aborted was found in Minglanilla, Cebu.

According to the report by Alan Domingo of GMA Regional TV on "State of the Nation," the severed head was first seen being carried by a puppy. 

Residents thought that it was the head of a doll until the dog left it by the roadside.

"I saw the dog carrying something. I pressed my horn, and it ran away, leaving the head behind. I called my cousin and told him there's a baby's head. The baby was a newborn," a witness said in Cebuano.

Not too far away from where the head was found were bloodied clothes, which may have been used to wrap the baby.

The baby's gender has yet to be determined as its body has yet to be found.

The head has since been buried.

The police are looking for the baby's mother. –NB, GMA Integrated News
