2 suspects in death of cop found in septic tank surrender

Two suspects behind the death of a police officer found inside a septic tank in Bulacan have surrendered to authorities, the Malolos City police chief said.

According to a report in “24 Oras” on Wednesday, the Malolos police did not give further information, but said they are already working on the case. 

Four other suspects in the murder of Police Staff Sergeant Renato Casauay were arrested earlier. 

Police investigation revealed a possible work-related motive behind the killing.

On Tuesday, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) announced a P1 million reward for anyone who can point to the whereabouts of the other suspects, including the gunman. — Vince Angelo Ferreras/JMA, GMA Integrated News
