Davao cops to file raps vs Villa-Abrille scion
DAVAO CITY, Philippines - San Pedro Police Chief Alden Delvo said they have yet to file double murder charges against the primary suspect in last Friday's shooting incident on F. Torres St., in the city which resulted in the death of two persons. Families of the victims, he said, have yet to file their affidavits. "We are waiting for the parents to sign the complaint sheet, the papers are already ready," Delvo said in an interview. Those killed in the shooting incident were cousins Rommel Siglos of Tacurong City in Sultan Kudarat and Rey John Tolentinoof Cotabato City. Based on police investigation, a scion of a prominent family in Davao City is being tagged as the primary suspect. Police considered as primary suspect a certain Ken Alder Villa Abrille Lelis, whose school identification card was found inside the abandoned getaway vehicle recovered by the police a day after the gruesome killing. Delvo added that an eyewitness has also positively identified Lelis. Witnesses also identified the abandoned vehicle, a white Toyota Corolla sedan with plate number LCE 747, as the getaway car of the gunman and his company. Land Transportation Office registration record shows that the vehicle is owned by a certain Andrew Villa Abrille Lelis of Magallanes St, Davao City. Lelis has also been placed on the watch list of the Bureau of Immigration and Deportation (BID) as a hold departure order has yet to be issued.
