Vehicle crashes into store after driver shot dead in Bulacan

A vehicle crashed into an establishment in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan after its driver was shot to death, according to Jamie Santos’ Wednesday report on “Saksi.”

A video acquired by the GMA Integrated News showed emergency responders taking the victim, who was unconscious, from the vehicle and brought to the hospital but was declared dead on arrival.

A Barangay Muzon responder said the victim was shot twice, on in the head and another on his chest.

The victim was declared dead at 1:40 p.m. after the medical staff attempted to revive him.

Elizabeth Valerio, captain of Barangay Muzon, said the incident was reported to them at around 1:00 p.m.

The initial report was a shooting incident, and there were several empty bullet casings were found.

The San Jose del Monte police declined to issue a statement on the matter while the follow-up operation and an investigation into the motive of the shooting is being conducted. — Mariel Celine Serquiña/BAP, GMA Integrated News
