200 families affected by fire in Mandaue City, Cebu

At least 50 houses were razed in Mandaue City, Cebu, according to the GMA Regional TV report on "Saksi" Monday.

The houses were close together so the fire spread quickly.

About 200 families that were affected were not able to save their belongings.

According to the Bureau of Fire Protection, one of the possible causes of fire is an appliance that was left plugged. — BAP, GMA News
