Dog shot dead by motorcycle passenger in Isabela

A motorcycle passenger killed one of the two dogs that were chasing the vehicle in Ramon, Isabela.

CCTV footage obtained by GMA Regional TV, as reported on "24 Oras" Friday, showed two dogs chasing and barking at a motorcycle passing along the national road in Barangay Abatali.

Moments later, the motorcycle returned, and the passenger shot one of the dogs before quickly fleeing.

The bullet penetrated the dog's body, killing it.

The owners claimed to have restricted their dogs' movements in their backyard even though they did not use a leash. They also said they were unaware that their pets had left the house.

Authorities are searching for the rider and the passenger.
