Soldier killed, 4 injured in military truck crash along TPLEx

One soldier was killed while four others were injured after a military truck crashed along the Tarlac–Pangasinan–La Union Expressway in Villasis, Pangasinan.

According to a report by Luisito Santos on Super Radyo dzBB, spokesperson Col. Louie Dema-ala said the Philippine Army extends its condolences to the family of the slain soldier.

“His service and sacrifice for the country can never be measured nor forgotten,” Dema-ala said.

The Philippine Army also assured assistance for the injured personnel, who are currently undergoing treatment and are under close medical observation.

Dema-ala added that the military is coordinating with concerned authorities to ensure a thorough and impartial investigation into the cause of the accident.

The identities of the victims and further details of the incident were not immediately disclosed.—MCG, GMA News
