Mother dead, 2 children injured in Rodriguez, Rizal landslide
A mother was killed while two of her children were injured in a landslide incident in Rodriguez, Rizal on Sunday morning, the Police Regional Office 4A (PRO 4A) said on Monday.
Based on the police report, the deceased victim was identified as 37-year-old “Risel” and the two injured children were two-year-old “Miro” and 12-year-old “Jacob.”
An 18-year-old witness, identified as Hazel, said that at 5:30 a.m. on Sunday, she heard her mother shouting, “Ano iyon? Parang may gumuguho. Labas bilis.”

Moments after this, the police said a large rock suddenly rolled down toward the family’s house and directly hit the mother along with two of her children.
All three individuals sustained immediate injuries due to the impact.
The victims were rushed to a hospital for emergency medical assistance.
However, Risel was declared dead on arrival. Meanwhile, her two children received first aid and further medical attention, according to the police. —AOL, GMA News
