Kidnaping of 2 men in Cebu City caught on video

The kidnapping of two men in a van was caught on camera in Cebu City.

According to a report on “24 Oras” on Monday, the van had a convoy car. The kidnapping suspects are believed to be riding the two vehicles.

According to CCTV, one of the victims attempted to escape but failed. The kidnappers, who also stole the victims’ parked vehicle, were identified as business partners.

The police said the incident is not a kidnap-for-ransom incident, but rather motivated by personal interest.

Authorities’ investigation show that the kidnapping is connected to a car rental.

Eventually, one of the victims was cut loose in Naga, Cebu. Meanwhile, the other victim remains missing.

As of writing, the released victim is now a person of interest.
