Wounded in Tacloban school shooting now 7, say cops
Police said the number of persons wounded in the school shooting incident at San Jose National High School in Tacloban City on Monday has risen to seven, while fatalities remain at three.
Citing the investigation by the Tacloban City Police Office, a statement from Police Regional Office (PRO) 8 the victims were immediately transported to nearby medical facilities for emergency treatment.
The two minors allegedly involved in the shooting incident are under police custody with pending referral to the City Social Welfare and Development Office, according to PRO 8.

"Our personnel acted swiftly to place the Children in Conflict with the Law (CICL) involved under custody while strictly observing the provisions of Republic Act No. 9344 and ensuring the protection of their rights and welfare,” PRO 8 Regional Director P/Brigadier General Jason L Capoy said.
“We assure the families of the victims and the public that a thorough, impartial, and child-sensitive investigation is underway.
