Cagayan de Oro blaze damages cost P1.7M, leaving 190 families affected

At least 190 families were affected by the fire that hit a residential area in Barangay Lapasan, Cagayan de Oro City, according to the report from GMA Regional TV One Mindanao in "Saksi."

The fire spread quickly because the houses were close together and made of light materials.

About 90 houses were damaged and more than 190 families are affected.

Authorities estimated that the damage to property cost about P1.7 million. — BAP, GMA News
