Residents and visitors can conveniently apply for a Postal ID and access a wide range of postal services from the Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) during the GOCCs' Service Caravan on June 29–30 at SM CDO Downtown Mall.

Held in partnership with the Department of Finance (DOF), the two-day event is open to the public free of charge, with no prior registration required. Visitors may walk in to avail themselves of government services, receive assistance with transactions, and learn more about available programs and benefits.

PHLPost will offer Postal ID application services alongside other essential postal services, including the sale of philatelic stamps and personalized "Selfie Stamps," as well as the acceptance and processing of mail and parcels.

Customers may also avail of the Express Mail Service (EMS), which provides fast and reliable delivery for both domestic and international shipments.

The GOCCs' Service Caravan aims to bring essential government services closer to the public, making transactions more accessible, convenient, and efficient.

“The Service Caravan is an excellent opportunity for the public to conveniently access PHLPost services in one location. We encourage everyone to visit our booth, apply for their Postal ID, and discover the various postal services that can help make their transactions easier and more accessible,” said Cecil Cotapte, PHLPost Area 8 Marketing Specialist.

The Postal ID application fee is P550 for regular processing, inclusive of taxes and delivery. Applicants need only submit a duly accomplished application form, a valid proof of identity, and proof of address. —LDF, GMA News
