Bayambang, Pangasinan councilor dies after car hits bridge concrete barrier

A 25-year-old councilor was killed after he reportedly fell asleep while driving and his car hit the concrete barrier of a bridge in San Carlos City, Pangasinan.

According to a report on “Saksi,” John Nazer Junio, a councilor of Bayambang town, lost control of his vehicle and swerved to the side of the bridge on Thursday night.

Investigation showed that Junio may have fallen asleep at the wheel. He was brought to the hospital for treatment but succumbed to his injuries. –NB, GMA News
