Vietnam says China's South China Sea drills harm code of conduct talks

HANOI - Vietnam said on Thursday that military drills conducted this week by Beijing in the South China Sea will hurt negotiations on a maritime code of conduct (COC) in the disputed waters.

The drills could complicate regional efforts to establish a maritime code and harm COC negotiations, foreign ministry spokeswoman Le Thi Thu Hang told a regular press briefing. -Reuters
