Crete rattled by 5.2 magnitude tremour, no damage reported

An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 5.2 rattled the Greek island of Crete on Wednesday, with no immediate reports of damage.

The Institute of Geodynamics at the National Observatory of Athens said the tremour occurred at 19.29 (1629 GMT) south-west of Crete, at a depth of 11.6 kilometers. — Reuters
