Magnitude 6.7 earthquake strikes Papua New Guinea; no tsunami threat to PH

There was no tsunami threat to the country after an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.7 struck Papua New Guinea on Tuesday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) said.
The quake, which occurred at 7:05 p.m., hit at a depth of 106 km.
