Guam Visitors Bureau: PAL's direct Cebu-Guam flights to boost PH, Guam partnership
Philippine Airlines has launched a new direct flight route from Cebu City to Guam.
According to the Guam Visitors Bureau (GVB), PAL will be offering three-times-a-week service between Cebu and Guam starting December 16 in an effort to strengthen partnerships between Guam and the Philippines.
“Cebu and Guam are more than neighboring islands; we share a love for hospitality, family, and celebration… It allows Guamanians to experience the richness of the Visayas, while inviting more Filipinos to enjoy the warmth and uniqueness of Guam’s island life,” said GVB President Régine Biscoe Lee.
“This didn’t happen overnight. It’s the result of years of hard work and collaboration. We’re opening doors for more families to reconnect, for businesses to grow, and to diversify beyond our traditional markets,” added Guam Senator Jesse Lujan.
The Cebu-Guam flights will depart Cebu at 9:40 p.m. and arrive in Guam by 3:25 a.m., while returning flights are set to leave Guam by 5:15 a.m. and land in Cebu at 6:50 a.m.
The flights will be available every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
PAL’s Cebu-Guam route is an addition to recent direct international routes from the city, following previous launches of flights bound for Japan, South Korea, and Vietnam. — JMA, GMA Integrated News
