Rape victim asks Arroyo to take custody of US servicemen

The 22-year-old woman who was allegedly rape inside the Subic Freeport last November appealed to President Arroyo on Sunday to take custody of four US servicemen who were accused of the crime. The victim broke her four-month silence and belied reports that she is a prostitute. She also denied she entered into a compromise agreement to drop her case. She vowed to finish her case pending with the Olongapo City Regional Trial Court. Government prosecutors failed to deliver the arrest warrant for the accused and take custody of the US servicemen because of the RP-US Visiting Forces Agreement. -GMANews.TV
