Gonzales sure of victory in cases against party-list solons

National Security Adviser Norberto Gonzales on Monday was confident the government will win its case against party-list representatives accused of rebellion. Gonzales said the government has a strong case and enough evidence to support the charges filed against Reps. Liza Maza of Gabriela, Satur Ocampo, Teddy Casiño and Joel Virador of Bayan Muna, and Rafael Mariano and Crispin Beltran of Anakpawis. “Palagay ko malakas ang kaso ng gobyerno ngayon. Tiyak, panalo kami dito," he said. Gonzales dismissed possible talks for reconciliation with the lawmakers. He said reconciliation is not an option as far as the lawmakers are concerned. He said he would only talk peace, reconciliation and unity with the lawmakers after the court rules on the case. -GMANews.TV
