RAINFALL ALERT: Yellow in Zambales; heavy rains expected in Rizal, 4 areas (Thursday, 8 a.m.)

A Yellow Rainfall Warning has been raised over Zambales on Thursday morning due to the effects of the Southwest Monsoon or Habagat, state weather bureau PAGASA said.
In its 8 a.m. advisory, PAGASA warned of flooding in flood-prone areas in Zambales under the said rainfall warning.
Meanwhile, light to moderate with occasional heavy rains are expected within the next three hours in the following Luzon areas:
- Rizal
- Nueva Ecija
- Laguna (Mabitac, Pakil, Pangil, Santa Maria, Famy, Siniloan, Paete, Kalayaan),
- Cavite (Bacoor, Imus, Kawit, Cavite City, Noveleta, Rosario, Tanza, General Trias, Naic, Maragondon, Ternate, General Emilio Aguinaldo, Magallanes, Trece Martires, Alfonso, Tagaytay, Indang, Mendez, Amadeo)
- Batangas (Nasugbu, Balayan, Tuy, Lian, Laurel)
Also, PAGASA said light to moderate with occasional heavy rains are affecting the following and nearby areas in Luzon, which may persist within three hours:
- Bataan
- Tarlac (San Jose, Capas, Bamban)
- Pampanga (Mabalacat, Angeles, Santa Rita, Bacolor, San Fernando, Minalin, Guagua, Santo Tomas, Porac)
- Metro Manila (Pasay, Paranaque, Manila, Quezon City, Caloocan, Malabon, Valenzuela, Navotas)
- Bulacan (San Miguel)
- Quezon (Panukulan, Burdeos, Patnanungan, Polillo)
PAGASA advised the public and concerned disaster risk reduction and management offices to monitor the weather condition.
