RAINFALL ALERT: Yellow alert in Zambales, Bataan (Sunday, 8 a.m.)

Heavy rainfall warning, Sept. 6, 8 AM

A yellow rainfall warning alert was issued over Zambales and Bataan on Sunday morning, September 6, state weather bureau PAGASA said.

As of 8 a.m., the rains brought by the Southwest Monsoon or Habagat is expected to cause flooding in flood-prone areas in the said areas.

Further, light to moderate with occasional heavy rains are to be expected over the following areas within the next three hours:

  • Laguna
  • Nueva Ecija (Carranglan, General Tinio, Gapan, Cabiao, San Isidro, Lupao, Talugtug, Guimba, Cuyapo, Nampicuan, San Antonio, Peñaranda, San Leonardo, Jaen, Zaragoza, Licab)
  • Batangas (Agoncillo, Alitagtag, Balayan, Batangas City, Bauan, Calaca, Calatagan, Tanauan, Laurel, Lemery, Lian, Mabini, Nasugbu, San Luis, San Nicolas, San Pascual, Santa Teresita, Santo Tomas, Taal, Talisay, Tingloy, Tuy, Cuenca, Lipa, Mataasnakahoy, Balete, Malvar, San Jose, Ibaan)

Currently, light to moderate with occasional heavy rains are affecting the areas listed below. The rains may persist within three hours and may affect nearby areas.

  • Tarlac (Mayantoc, San Jose, Capas, Bamban)
  • Pampanga (Porac, Lubao, Guagua, Sasmuan, Santa Rita, Floridablanca)
  • Cavite (Cavite City, Kawit, Noveleta, Imus, Tanza, General Trias, Rosario, Bacoor, Naic)
  • Rizal (Rodriguez, Binangonan, Cardona, Tanay, Baras, Teresa, Angono, Morong, Antipolo, Taytay, San Mateo, Cainta)
  • Bulacan (San Jose del Monte, Bocaue, Balagtas, Santa Maria, Meycauayan, Marilao, Obando, Bulakan)
  • Metro Manila (Manila, Caloocan, Navotas, Malabon, Valenzuela, Mandaluyong, Makati, Quezon City, San Juan, Pasig, Marikina, Paranaque, Pasay, Taguig, Pateros, Las Pinas)
  • Quezon (General Nakar)
