THUNDERSTORM ADVISORY: Moderate to heavy rains over parts of Metro Manila, 8 other areas (Sunday, 10:38 p.m.)

In Thunderstorm Advisory No. 9 posted by the state weather bureau PAGASA on Sunday evening, moderate to heavy rains with lightning and strong winds are expected over parts of Metro Manila, Bataan, and seven other areas:

Moderate to heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds within the next 2 hours are expected over the following areas:

• Metro Manila (Las Pinas, Muntinlupa, Paranaque, Taguig, Makati, Pasay, and Pateros)
• Bataan (Mariveles, Orion, Limay, and Bagac)
• Batangas (Nasugbu)
• Bulacan (Bulakan, Santa Maria, Norzagaray, Balagtas, and Bocaue)
• Cavite (Magallanes, General Emilio Aguinaldo, Trece Martires, General Trias, Imus, Bacoor, and Indang)
• Laguna (Pakil, Mabitac, Santa Maria, Pangil, Siniloan, Famy, Lumban, Santa Cruz, Paete, and Kalayaan)
• Nueva Ecija (Carranglan)
• Quezon (Burdeos, Polillo, San Andres, San Narciso, San Francisco, and Mulanay)
• Rizal (Taytay, Cainta, Antipolo, San Mateo, Rodriguez, Cardona, Angono, Tanay, Morong, Baras, and Teresa

The above condition, which may persist within 2 hours, is also affecting the following areas:

• Bulacan (San Jose del Monte, Meycauayan, Marilao, and Obando)
• Cavite (Ternate, Maragondon, Naic, Tanza, Rosario, Noveleta, Cavite City, and Kawit)
• Metro Manila (Quezon City, Caloocan, Valenzuela, Malabon, Navotas, Manila, San Juan, Mandaluyong, Pasig, and Marikina)
• Quezon (Patnanungan and Jomalig)
• Rizal (Pililla, Jala-Jala, and Binangonan)
