THUNDERSTORM ADVISORY: Moderate to heavy rains over parts of Bulacan, 3 other areas (Friday, 12:34 a.m.)

Thunderstorm Advisory No. 20 issued by the state weather bureau PAGASA at 12:34 a.m., Friday, October 9, 2026 stated that moderate to heavy rains are expected over parts of Bulacan, and three other areas.

Moderate to heavy rain showers with lightning and strong winds within the next 2 hours are expected over the following areas:

• Bulacan (Dona Remedios Trinidad and Norzagaray)
• Laguna (Santa Maria, Siniloan, Famy, Pangil, Pakil, and Mabitac)
• Quezon (Real, Mauban, Atimonan, Alabat, Quezon, Calauag, Tagkawayan, Guinayangan, Lopez, Buenavista, San Narciso, San Andres, San Francisco, Mulanay, Gumaca, Plaridel, Pagbilao, Tayabas, Lucena, Burdeos, Polillo, Patnanungan, and Jomalig)
• Rizal (Tanay, Rodriguez, and Pililla)

The above condition is affecting Quezon (General Nakar, Perez, and Infanta) which may persist within 2 hours.

PAGASA also said, "All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides. Keep monitoring for updates." — BAP, GMA News
