Amihan to bring cloudy skies, light rains over Northern Luzon, Cagayan Valley

The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) will prevail over parts of Luzon within the next 24 hours, state weather bureau PAGASA said in its Thursday morning forecast.

The Batanes and Babuyan Islands will experience cloudy skies with light rains, while the Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Cagayan Valley will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.

Meanwhile, the easterlies will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over the Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Marinduque, Romblon, Oriental Mindoro, Dinagat Islands, and Surigao del Norte.

The rest of the country will see partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

Winds will be light to moderate across the country, with slight to moderate coastal waters expected nationwide. — VBL, GMA News
