Overcast weather for Metro Manila on Friday

The northeast monsoon will be affecting the extreme northern Luzon on Friday, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.

Batanes and the Babuyan Group of Islands will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains caused by the northeast monsoon.

In Palawan, the Visayas, and Mindanao the weather condition will be partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers brought about by localized thunderstorms. PAGASA warned that residents in these regions that flash floods are possible due to severe thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon, meanwhile, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies.

The forecast wind condition in extreme northern Luzon with wind speed will range from moderate to occasionally strong northeastward with coastal water condition forecast to be slight to moderate.

The rest of the country will experience wind speed of light to moderate moving in the east to northeast direction. — BAP, GMA News
