Cloudy skies, isolated rainshowers forecast over Metro Manila


The easterlies will continue to prevail over central and southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.

Caraga and eastern Visayas will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the easterlies. Residents in these regions are warned that flash floods are possible due to scattered light to moderate rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms brought about by the easterlies. Residents are warned of possible occurrence of flash floods during severe thunderstorms.

Forecast wind speed for northern Luzon will be moderate moving in the east to southeast direction while coastal waters are moderate.

In the eastern sections of central and southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao will have moderate wind speed moving eastward while the coastal water condition is moderate.

For the rest of the country, wind speed will be light to moderate moving eastward. Coastal water conditions will be slight to moderate. — BAP, GMA News
