Cloudy skies, isolated rainshowers in Metro Manila — PAGASA

The southwest Monsoon will be affecting the western sections of Northern and Central Luzon on Friday, PAGASA reported.

Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Batanes, and Babuyan Group of Islands will have cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms caused by the southwest monsoon.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers caused by localized thunderstorms.

The weather bureau warned that flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.

The forecast wind speed in Luzon will be moderate to strong from the southwest while coastal water conditions will be moderate to rough.

For the rest of the country, wind speed will be light to moderate moving south to southwest direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate. — BAP, GMA News
