Cloudy skies, scattered rains seen over Quezon, Camarines, Catanduanes


Quezon, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, and Catanduanes will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms on Monday due to the northeasterly surface windflow, PAGASA said in its early morning forecast.

Flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorm.

Meanwhile, Batanes, Ilocos Norte, Apayao and Cagayan will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains also due to the northeasterly surface windflow.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country on the other hand will have generally fair weather with partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.

Flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorm.

  • Tuguegarao: 23ºC-32ºC

  • Legazpi: 25ºC-33ºC
  • Metro Cebu: 25ºC-32ºC
  • Tacloban: 26ºC-31ºC
  • Iloilo/Bacolod: 26ºC-32ºC
  • Cagayan de Oro: 25ºC-32ºC
  • Valencia: 21ºC-33ºC
  • Metro Davao: 25ºC-33ºC
  • Zamboanga: 24ºC-33ºC

 

No gale warning has been raised. 

Severe Tropical Storm Neoguri (known as Perla when it was in the Philippine Area of Responsibility) continues to move farther away from the country.

On Monday morning, Neoguri was located 1,215 km northest of Extreme Northern Luzon, having maximum sustained winds of 110 kph with gustiness of 135 kph. It was moving northeast at 30 kph.

PAGASA is also monitoring Typhoon Bualoi which is outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility. It was located 2,670 km east of Southern Luzon early Monday, with maximum sustained winds of 130 kph and gustiness of 160 kph. 

Bualoi, which is moving west northwest at 15 kph, has a low chance of entering PAR.
