Cloudy skies, light rains forecast for Batanes, Ilocos Norte, Apayao and Cagayan

The Northeasterly Surface Windflow will prevail over Luzon on Saturday, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country, meanwhile, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms. Flash floods or landslides are possible, PAGASA says, during severe thunderstorms.

The weather bureau continues to monitor a tropical cyclone, which is outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) as of 3 a.m. on Saturday.
