Scattered rains in the Cordilleras, Cagayan Valley, Aurora, Quezon due to northeast monsoon
The northeast monsoon will continue to affect northern and central Luzon on Friday, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.
Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon will have cloudy skies with scattered rains due to northeast monsoon.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains brought about by the northeast monsoon.
In the Visayas and Mindanao, residents will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms. The weather bureau warns that flash floods or landslides may occur in these regions during severe thunderstorm.
The weather bureau continues to monitor the active tropical cyclone outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).
Typhoon Kammuri is located 1,370 kilometers east of southern Luzon with maximum sustained winds of 130 kilometers per hour, gustiness of up to 160 kph and moving westward with the speed of 25 kph.
In northern Luzon, the wind speed forecast is strong and moving northeastward while coastal waters will be rough
For the Visayas, Mindanao and the rest of Luzon, the forecast wind speed is moderate to strong moving in the northeast to north direction while coastal waters will remain moderate to rough. — BAP, GMA News
