Scattered rains in Cagayan including Babuyan Islands, Isabela, Apayao
The Tail-End of a Cold Front will be affecting the eastern section of northern Luzon on Saturday, bringing scattered rains to Cagayan including Babuyan Islands, Isabela, and Apayao, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.
Residents in these areas are advised to be vigilant as flash floods and landslides may occur due to intermittent heavy rains.
The Cordillera Administrative Region, Ilocos provinces, Northern Aurora and the rest of Cagayan Valley will have cloudy skies with scattered light rains brought about by the northeast monsoon. Affected provinces will experience gusty conditions in coastal and mountainous areas.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country, meanwhile, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms. Residents are advised to be vigilant for the possibility of flash floods or rain-induced landslides during severe thunderstorm.
The wind speed forecast for northern Luzon is strong and moving northeastward while coastal waters will be rough.
In the Visayas and rest of Luzon, wind speed forecast is moderate to strong moving in the northeast to north direction while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
The wind speed forecast in Mindanao is light to moderate moving in the northeast to northwest direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate. — BAP, GMA News
