Cloudy skies, rainshowers to prevail over Mindanao, Eastern and Central Visayas
Mindanao, Eastern and Central Visayas will have cloudy skies with rainshowers and isolated thunderstorm on Tuesday due to the easterlies or the wind from the east, PAGASA said in its early morning forecast.
Flash floods and landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.
The Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, Aurora and Quezon will also have cloudy skies but with light rains caused by the northeasterly surface windflow and easterlies.
The Ilocos Region will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeasterly surface windflow.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country meanwhile will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies, with possible landslides and flooding during severe thunderstorms.
Coastal waters will be moderate to rough in Extreme Northern Luzon, the rest of Luzon, and the eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao. These areas will have waves as tall as 2.8 meters.
For the rest of the country, coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
