Northeast Monsoon to bring cloudy skies, light rains to most of Philippines

Most of the country will have cloudy skies and light rains on Sunday as the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) is affecting the Philippines, PAGASA said in its early morning forecast.

These areas will have cloudy skies with light rains due to the Amihan:

• Cordillera Administrative Region
• Cagayan Valley
• Aurora
• Quezon
• Bicol Region
• Eastern Visayas
• Caraga
• Davao Region

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the monsoon.

Coastal waters will be moderate to rough in the entire archipelago, with waves reaching as tall as 4.5 meters.

Sunrise will be at 6:24 a.m. while sunset will be at 5:55 p.m. —KG, GMA News
