PAGASA: Easterlies to bring rains, thunderstorms over entire PHL
The Easterlies, warm winds from the Pacific Ocean, will bring cloudy skies with isolated rains and localized thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of the country on Saturday afternoon.
In its 24-hour weather forecast issued at 4 p.m, PAGASA said that there was a possibility of flash floods and landslides during a severe thunderstorm.
Because of the Easterlies, the eastern parts of Northern Luzon, Central Luzon, Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao are expected to experience moderate to strong winds.
Coastal waters in these areas are expected to be moderate to rough.
Meanwhile, the rest of the country will be experiencing light to moderate winds. The coastal waters in these areas will be slight to moderate. —Angelica Yang/LBG, GMA News
