Northeast Monsoon to bring light rains over Luzon, PAGASA says
The Northeast Monsoon is expected to bring cloudy skies with light rains over the Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Aurora, Quezon, and Oriental Mindoro on Wednesday, PAGASA said Tuesday.
In its 24-hour weather update, the weather bureau added that the monsoon may also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon and the Visayas.
Meanwhile, Mindanao may experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.
PAGASA warned residents against possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Gale warnings are raised over Batanes, Cagayan, Babuyan Islands, Isabela, Aurora, Quezon, Polillo Group of Islands, the northern coast of Camarines provinces, the northern and eastern coasts of Catanduanes, the eastern coast of Sorsogon, and the northern and eastern coasts of Samar provinces.
It is also raised over Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Zambales, and Siargao Island.
The weather bureau cautioned against sea travel for fishing boats and small vessels due to expected rough to very rough sea conditions.
