Easterlies to bring rainshowers across Philippines —PAGASA
Warm winds from the Pacific Ocean called the Easterlies are expected to bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon and Visayas on Thursday, PAGASA said Wednesday.
In its 24-hour weather update, the weather bureau said the Easterlies will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Mindanao.
Despite this, PAGASA said the Easterlies has no significant effect on the country.
Gale warnings are meanwhile raised over the northern and eastern coasts of Catanduanes, the northern and eastern coasts of Samar Provinces, Dinagat Island, Siargao, Surigao del Sur, and Davao Oriental.
The weather bureau cautioned against sea voyage for small vessels due to expected rough to very rough sea conditions.
Meanwhile, the temperature in Metro Manila dropped to 22.9°C at 6 a.m. and peaked at 31.8°C at 2:50 p.m. — Joahna Lei Casilao/BM, GMA News
