Batanes, Babuyan Group of Islands to have light rains

The northeasterlies or the winds from the northeast will bring light rains over Extreme Northern Luzon on Sunday, according to PAGASA's early morning forecast.

Batanes and the Babuyan Group of Islands will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies. Flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.

Coastal waters in the eastern sections of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will be moderate to rough, with wave reaching as high as 4 meters.

For the rest of the country, coastal waters will be slight to moderate, with wave heights as much as 1.2 meters.
