LPA to bring scattered rainshowers over Palawan
A low pressure area (LPA) will bring cloudy skies and scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Palawan on Sunday, PAGASA said in its early morning forecast.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon, meanwhile, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to the easterlies or the winds from the east.
Visayas and Mindanao will also have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms. Flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.
At 3 a.m., the LPA was located at 35 km east southeast of Puerto Princesa City in Palawan.
The LPA may possibly dissipate in a few hours after it crosses Palawan.
Coastal waters will be slight to moderate throughout the country.
Sunrise will be at 6:09 a.m. while sunset will be at 6:05 p.m. —KG, GMA News
