Northeast Monsoon to bring cloudy skies, rains over Luzon

The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) is affecting Luzon and will cause cloudy skies and rains on Monday, PAGASA said in its early morning forecast.

Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Bicol Region, Aurora, Quezon, Marinduque, and Oriental Mindoro will have cloudy skies with rains, while Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains.

Visayas and Mindanao, meanwhile, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms. Flash floods or landslides may be possible during severe thunderstorms.

Coastal waters will be moderate to rough in Northern Luzon and the eastern section of Luzon, and slight to moderate in the rest of the country.
