Metro Manila and most of the Philippines will be cloudy with isolated rains due to the easterlies


The easterlies will continue to be felt in the eastern section of the country on Tuesday, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.

Eastern Visayas and the provinces of Surigao del Norte and Dinagat will be cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms brought about by the easterlies with the possibility of flash flood or landslides that may occur during severe thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to the easterlies / localized thunderstorms.

The forecast wind speed for northern Luzon is light to moderate moving in the southeast to northeast direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.

The rest of the country wind speed forecast is light to moderate moving in the east to northeast direction while coastal waters will remain slight to moderate. -- BAP, GMA News
