Caraga, Davao regions will be cloudy with scattered rains due to the easterlies
The northeasterly surface windflow will be affecting extreme northern Luzon on Friday while the easterlies affecting the eastern section of the country, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.
The regions of Caraga and Davao will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorm due to the easterlies. The weather bureau adds that there is a possibility that flash floods or landslides may occur due to scattered moderate to at times heavy rains.
Batanes and the Babuyan Group of Islands will have cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeasterly surface windflow.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to the easterlies / localized thunderstorms.
The wind speed forecast for northern and western sections of northern Luzon is moderate to strong moving northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
The wind speed forecast for the rest of the country is light to moderate moving in the east to northeast direction while coastal waters will remain slight to moderate. -- BAP, GMA News
