Cloudy skies, isolated rains forecast for Metro Manila due to the easterlies
The northeasterly surface windflow will be affecting extreme northern Luzon on Saturday while easterlies will be affecting the eastern section of the country, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.
Batanes and Babuyan Islands will have cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeasterly surface windflow.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to the easterlies or localized thunderstorms.
The forecast wind speed for northern and western section of northern Luzon is moderate to strong moving northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
The rest of Luzon will have a wind speed of slight to moderate moving in the east to northeast direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.
For the rest of the country, the forecast wind speed is slight to moderate moving in the east to northeast direction while coastal waters is slight to moderate. -- BAP, GMA News
