Cloudy skies, isolated rains over the Philippines due to HPA, easterlies
The ridge of a High Pressure Area (HPA) extending over Northern and Central Luzon with the easterlies affecting the rest of the country on Thursday, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to the easterlies, ridge of the HPA, and localized thunderstorms. The weather systems, however, will have no significant impact.
The wind speed forecast in the eastern section of Mindanao is light to moderate moving in the northeast to northwest direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
The rest of the country will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the east to southeast direction while coastal waters will remain slight to moderate. -- BAP, GMA News
