Cloudy skies, isolated rains over most of the Philippines due to easterlies
A Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated at 890 kilometers east of Davao City early Saturday morning as the easterlies will be affecting the eastern sections of Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to the easterlies or localized thunderstorms but with no significant impact.
The wind speed in the eastern section of Mindanao will be light to moderate moving to the northeast to north while the coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
In the northern and central Luzon, the wind speed will be light and the directional variable as the coastal waters will remain slight.
For the rest of the country, the wind speed will be light to moderate moving northeast to a variable direction while coastal waters will remain slight to moderate. -- BAP, GMA News
