Localized thunderstorms to bring cloudy skies, isolated rain showers across country

Localized thunderstorms are expected to bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers over Metro Manila and the rest of the country, according to PAGASA on Monday afternoon.

In its 4 p.m. weather bulletin, PAGASA said the low pressure area (LPA) previously known as Tropical Depression Ambo was located at 705 kilometers northeast of Basco, Batanes at 3 p.m.

The weather bureau advised the public to prepare for possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, PAGASA said light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal water conditions will prevail in Visayas, Mindanao and the rest of Luzon, while moderate to strong winds with moderate to strong waters should be expected in Northern Luzon. —Ma. Angelica Garcia/LDF, GMA News
