Cloudy skies, isolated rains forecast for the Philippines due to the easterlies

The easterlies will be affecting Visayas and Mindanao on Tuesday, PAGASA reported in its early morning forecast.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to the easterlies/localized thunderstorms.

The agency warned that flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.

The wind speed forecast for northern Luzon is moderate moving southwestward while coastal waters will be moderate.

In the Visayas and Mindanao, the wind speed forecast is light to moderate moving in the east to southeast direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.

The rest of Luzon wind speed is light to moderate moving in the south to southwest direction while coastal waters slight to moderate.
