Isolated rainshowers to prevail over the country —PAGASA

The ridge of a high pressure area, easterlies, and localized thunderstorms may bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers over Metro Manila and the rest of the country on Friday, PAGASA said Thursday.

In its 24-hour forecast, the weather agency warned of possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

According to PAGASA, the ridge of a high pressure area will be extending over Northern Luzon while easterlies, warm winds from the Pacific Ocean, will be affecting the rest of the country.

The temperature recorded by the PAGASA station at the Science Garden in Quezon City dropped to 26.8°C at 5:30 a.m. and peaked at 34.6°C at 1:50 p.m. —LDF, GMA News
