PAGASA: ITCZ to bring scattered rains, thunderstorms over 5 areas
The Intertropical Convergence Zone is expected to bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Bicol region, Visayas, and Mindanao, PAGASA said Saturday.
In its 24-hour forecast, the state weather agency warned of possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers may meanwhile prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon due to localized thunderstorms.
Flash floods and landslides are also possible during severe thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, the synoptic station at the Science Garden, Quezon City recorded a minimum temperature of 25.7°C at 6 a.m. and a maximum temperature of 33.8°C at 1 p.m. —Joahna Lei Casilao/LBG, GMA News
