Metro Manila, rest of the country to have isolated rain showers

Isolated rain showers were forecast over Metro Manila and the rest of the country mostly in the afternoon or evening on Sunday, PAGASA said in its early morning forecast.

These are due to localized thunderstorms. Flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will also have partly cloudy to cloudy skies.

PAGASA said the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ), the area where winds from the northern and southern hemisphere converge, is affecting Mindanao.

Coastal waters will be slight to moderate throughout the country.

Sunrise will be at 5:32 a.m. while sunset will be at 6:30 p.m. —KG, GMA News
